- Email Address: Used for authentication (login), security, and essential notifications relating to prayer requests.
- Prayer Requests: The content you submit is visible to the FRVNT community. You may optionally include a name; otherwise, requests are displayed as “Anonymous.”
- Session Data and Cookies: We use cookies for session management and, if selected, “remember me” functionality. No tracking, analytics, or third-party cookies are used.
- IP Address & Technical Data: May be logged for security, anti-spam, and system integrity purposes.
3. Purposes and Legal Basis
We process your personal data for:
- Authentication: To provide secure, password-free login links to your email address (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: contract performance).
- Community Prayer Functionality: To enable you to post and receive prayer requests, including making your request visible to others (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Notifications: You may receive notification emails when someone indicates they are praying for you, or when a prayer is marked as answered (Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Security & Abuse Prevention: To detect and prevent abuse, spam, or unauthorised use of the service (Article 6(1)(f): legitimate interests).
We do not process data for marketing purposes or share your data with third parties.
4. Data Retention
- Prayer Requests: Retained as long as the service operates or until you request removal.
- Session Data: Retained for the duration of your session or as long as the “remember me” function is active.
- Email Addresses: Retained for authentication and notifications only, and removed if you request account deletion.
5. Data Subject Rights
You have the following rights under GDPR:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
- Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Right to Restrict Processing: Request limited use of your data.
- Right to Data Portability: Obtain a copy of your data in a commonly used format.
